DevOps Road Trip 2019. I have three event commitments between May 30th and June 11th, all taking place in western US cities (Boise, Portland, and San Francisco). I will be speaking at DevOpsDays Boise. Giving the “Empowering Users Through Site Reliability Engineering” talk (abstract below) from the MS-Startup-Tour content library. Next is Monitorama in Portland, Oregon. Primarily there for networking and hearing about the latest ideas surrounding monitoring, alerting, incident management, etc.
Last, I’m speaking at the San Francisco stop of MS-Create (Startup Tour) on June 11th. Giving the “Building a Minimum Viable (Response) Plan” talk (abstract below). From there I’ll make my way back to Colorado where I’ll be stopping in Telluride for 6 days of PTO (17th - 21st)+(24th). Once home, I’ll be leaving for New York to speak at Q-Con. The talk is still TBD. Along the way, I’ll be stopping and working on technical walk-throughs and content to share that relates (and points) back to Microsoft properties. (I.e. Docs, blogs, MS-Learn, etc.) Using social media and the #DevOpsRoadTrip hashtag, I’ll be promoting the events and content daily. Denver - Boise - Portland - San Francisco
